2026.01.14Warning against Fraudulent Emails
Thank you for your continued support and patronage.
We have recently become aware of "spoofing" emails circulating that impersonate our company’s representative. These emails are soliciting the creation of messaging app groups and requesting the sharing of invitation QR codes.
These suspicious communications are in no way affiliated with our company. Please exercise extreme caution.
[How to identify suspicious emails]
While the sender name may display our representative’s name, please check the actual email address. These messages are being sent from free webmail services or unrelated addresses, rather than our official company domain (@nippon-roll.co.jp).
[Example of a fraudulent message]
"Hello, this is a work-related matter. To proceed, please first create a private group on a messaging app. Once created, please reply to this email with the group's invitation QR code. We will add the other members shortly."
[A request to our customers]
Please be advised that we will never request, via email, that you create or join a private group on a third-party messaging app.
If you receive a suspicious email, please do not reply or share any QR codes. To prevent fraud and the potential leak of personal information, we kindly ask that you delete the email immediately.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Systems Administration Department directly at 03-3878-6616. We appreciate your continued cooperation and understanding.
